This painting is inspired by El Molino de Quintín, one of the most recognizable landmarks of San Pedro del Pinatar on the shores of the Mar Menor. Rather than creating an exact representation of the landscape, I wanted to capture the unique atmosphere of this place. The warm glow of the setting sun, the reflections on the water, and the flamingos in the shallow lagoons create an almost tranquil scene. Standing watch over the landscape, the windmill serves as a timeless link between nature, history, and the serenity of the Spanish coast.
