Reflections of the setting sun transform the sea into a mosaic of gold and blue. With this painting, I wanted to capture not only a landscape, but also a sense of freedom, discovery, and the enduring pull of the distant horizon.
Guided by the Unfailing light

In this painting, I sought to capture the contrast between the power of the ocean and the reassuring presence of a light that never fails. The warm glow breaks through the cool tones of sky and sea, becoming a symbol of guidance, hope, and perseverance. Even when the horizon fades and the waters grow uncertain, the light remains visible to those seeking their way.
Study of W. Maris
2026This painting was created as a study of the landscape techniques of Willem Maris, one of the leading artists of the Hague School. Rather than focusing on detail, the aim was to capture atmosphere, light, and colour. The reflections in the water, the subtle pink and blue tones in the sky, and the presence of the cattle evoke the quiet simplicity characteristic of the Dutch polder landscape. Through this study, I explored how loose brushwork and harmonious colour relationships can create a sense of space, light, and atmosphere.
Towards the Horizon

The expansive sky and open landscape invite the viewer to look beyond and follow the road ahead. With this painting, I wanted to capture the feeling of a peaceful summer day, where simplicity and open space come together, and where the journey itself becomes more important than the destination.

El Molino de QuintÃn, San Pedro del Pinatar

Rather than creating an exact representation of the landscape, I wanted to capture the unique atmosphere of this place. The warm glow of the setting sun, the reflections on the water, and the flamingos in the shallow lagoons create an almost tranquil scene. Standing watch over the landscape, the windmill serves as a timeless link between nature, history, and the serenity of the Spanish coast.
