Three house sparrows have found a moment of rest on a weathered fence. Although the sparrow is one of the most familiar birds, its charm lies precisely in that familiarity. With this painting, I wanted to draw attention to the beauty of the ordinary: the warm colours of the plumage, the quiet companionship of the birds, and the subtle details that often go unnoticed. The painting invites the viewer to pause and appreciate the small moments and everyday inhabitants of the natural world.
